Camera not working in Microsoft team application

Question

Dear Sir / Madam
I have HP Laptop 15-da 1xxx
Operating system: Windows 7

Unfortunately while working in Microsoft team, camera option is not working. This is causing problem during meeting / online class.
Kindly help, how to fix this issue.

In other application, like Zoom, camera is working.

You could verify that Teams has permissions to access your camera.

Windows Key + I

Go to Privacy

Select Camera

Make sure that Allow apps to access your Camera is activated

Also, make sure that Choose apps that can use your camera is activated for Teams.

If this doesn't help, you could uninstall the camera driver and then reinstall it.

After that install a teams application again.

Can you find the camera device setting in Microsoft Teams?

As TKujala said, we recommend you check if you allow Teams app to access your camera. You can open Windows Settings panel and go to Privacy->Camera. Here you can find a heading saying Allow apps to access your camera.

Besides, if you think that the webcam has no problem, you can also try to restart the app and your computer to see if it can be fixed.
