SharePoint Site Column

Question

Hi

We are updating a value in list choice type column and it doesn't seem to update the value in the item when we click on 'Edit'. It shows as blank.

Please note we haven't deleted the previous value, but merely updated it.

Example 'Active' to '(1) Active' - we didn't delete 'Active' entry but added the (1) in front. The item in the list that already had Active, didn't update it when we clicked on 'Edit' and saved. It was blank.

Any guidance on this...are we doing something wrong? Or does the choice field thinks that any amendment is a deletion on that choice entry?

Ahh ok - sorry it is so confusing since the migration!!! And what a nightmare to try and ask a question here.
