Can anyone help me understand the best way to use Microsoft Teams?

Hi All,

I'm a newbie to use Teams as I have got it suggested by one of my friends. I'm a web developer and currently working on my project of a housekeeping service providing company (this website). I would like to make a proper use of Microsoft Teams to connect with my colleagues throughout the project. I'm looking for a veteran's useful advice on steps to follow and I really appreciate any help.
