Azure OMS Workspace - Unable to save capture data options under ädvanced settings"

Hi Everyone,

We've have created a Log Analytics work space, have connected linux & windows Azure VMs to it. Now, the next step is to collect data from Azure VMs - but unable to do that.

have selected,

  1. system & application logs - clicked on save - doesn't save - there's no notification such as saved
  2. windows performance counters - added the pre-defined ones for cpu, memory, disk, network - clicked on save - doesn't save - there's no notification such as saved
  3. same for.. linux performance counters, IIS logs

went into logs query & just typed "Perf"; but there's no output there either

This is weird, please let us know on how to fix the same & save the data to be captured - because we need to create customized dashboards.

    @Anonymous_17 Thanks for reaching out!! I believe you might have tried out these solutions. However, I would request you to check again.

    • Clear the browser cache
    • Try to access Azure portal in different browsers and also in incognito mode.
    • Is this issue related to specific machine or are you observing same issue in multiple machines ?

    If you are still facing the issue , I would recommend to file a support case using these steps. If you do not have a support plan, send mail to AzCommunity[at]microsoft[dot]com, include your subscription ID and a link to this Microsoft Q & A thread (for context).
