Hi, When I change name of domain joined pc, it adds a record to dns, but keeps old a record (name) for same ip, and it is not creating new ptr record. Ptr record is for old name, it makes problem with services that use dns name.

Scavenging should clean that up, optionally you could just delete the orphaned record.

To I date the ptr record of the host record you need to tick update ptr record while creating A record. If the host record is created static or manually then it won’t delete the previous when you create new record with new ip. If you used dhcp then this will work as expected because these records are dynamic.
