What will be the best way to setup a send-connector from the organization to office 365 if it present an EOP stand alone without an MX record? What should be the FQDN to use ?

As I said; As the smart host, you'll use the FQDN of Microsoft 365 which you would otherwise specify in your MX record. It is in the format of; domain-tld.mail.protection.outlook.com

Your scenario is not that uncommon. In fact, it is the first scenario covered in the section "When do I need a connector?" in the link that I gave you; You have a standalone EOP subscription ;-)

It is the same FQDN as what you would otherwise write in your MX record. You can look it up for your domain in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center here; https://admin.microsoft.com/#/Domains

Additionally see; Set up connectors to route mail between Microsoft 365 or Office 365 and your own email servers

    Hi Robert,

the mailflow is not an usual one: server1 > to O365 antispam EOP > to server2. In this configuration no MX record that point to O365.
If I choose internet option with MX the dns usually resolve in where to send the email based on the MX record. Unfortunately in this case no MX record is associated to O365.
    How can I configure the server1 send-connector to O365?
