Hello
We have bought extended support for our 2008 Servers. They have provided us with a MAK key.
I have installed the MAK key on couple of servers but its license status is showing as "Unlicensed". I have enabled the Internet connection as well but no use.
Tried using the VAMT tool but it is not allowing me to add the newly purchased MAK key. It gives the error "Un-supported Key"
All these 2008 servers are activated via KMS server.

Has anyone bought extended support for 2008 Servers and can help me out here.

Thanks
Baneesh Pal Singh

1.Install the following SHA-2 code signing support update and servicing stack update (SSU) or a later SSU:

    and

2.Install the following SSU and monthly rollup:

    Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:

    Servicing stack update for Windows 7 SP1 and Server 2008 R2 SP1: September 10, 2019 (KB4516655)

    and

    Windows Server 2008 SP2:

    1. Once activated, continue to use your current update and servicing strategy to deploy ESU through Windows Update, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Microsoft Update Catalog, or whichever patch management solution you prefer.
