Why do I keep getting the loading screen for Azure Portal?

I keep getting the Azure Portal Loading screen whenever I want to enter the portal.
I have tried clearing my cache / cookies, and as well as opening it up in incognito mode with no avail.
It will keep trying to load until I get the "Hmm something went wrong" screen.

What could be the issue? It's a free trial account I made last week. I had no problems using it then.

If I could get some help, that'd be greatly appreciated.

I didn't know which tag to use by the way, as Azure portal wasn't an existing tag.

I just tried opening the Azure portal and it is working as expected in all the browsers.
I assume that it could be an intermit issue that you were facing with Azure portal. Wanted to call out that it has nothing to do with the Free trail subscription.

Request you to try below suggestions:

Try from a different browser.
Try from another Network.
If you have a VM in your subscription that is accessible, try to access Azure Poral from that to confirm on Network issue from your side.

I tried those options, none of them seem to work. What's odd is that I can access through my phone.
Any other options?

Exact same scenario here. I can log in using my phone, but all browsers are failing (Edge, Chrome, Firefox), even in private mode. Let me know if you manage to solve the problem somehow.

Update: apparently my antivirus (BitDefender) was blocking some web request and causing the Azure Portal not to load. That was odd.

As suggested by Daniel, can you please check if there are any applications that are blocking this.
Stop all the applications and try once.

Just found this thread but same issue could not access AAD Portal as well trying everything including installing Firefox. Added a URL exclusion into Bitdefender for the Azure Portal fixed it.

FYI, adding an exception did not solve the issue completely for me. I had to uninstall BitDefender and use another antivirus product instead, because I was still getting errors when trying to create new resources and such.

The exception worked for me but then stopped after having to open and setup a new user account. Good while it lasted. I sent Bitdefender a support ticket since this started with their latest update.

Edit: It turns out my antivirus, BitDefender, is somehow preventing the login page from working. Temporarily disabling the antivirus has allowed me to log in again. If you use the same antivirus, give this a try.

I got an email from Bitdefender saying they are aware of the issue and working on a solution. No ETA was given.

this! its been a week since I have been experiencing this, temporarily disabling it fixed the issue.

Reporting the same issue, I orignally though Azure was down and came back later...same story. Disabling Bit Defender Protection shield allowed me to get to Azure Portal.
I have an exclusion for Azure Portal but this is useless.

Just adding to the list of people who confirmed disabling BitDefender resolves this issue. I was on the brink of insanity trying to figure out why it wouldn't load the portal.

it was nordvpn threat protection that was blocking the access
