Will the new Microsoft edge be brought to the Universal Windows Platform? We would love to see that fluent design though. As the PWAs as of Edge 84 work seamlessly with Windows and integrate with it very well if enables in the experiments section. I strongly recommend bringing the new Microsoft Edge to UWP now, about half a year has passed since its first stable public release.

I'm not sure if you're saying Edge Chromium UWP version or using Edge Chromium kernel to develop a UWP app (WebView2).

If you mean the former, I think there won't have Edge Chromium UWP version any more. Microsoft doesn't have this plan. As you know, Edge Legacy is UWP app and now Microsoft has dropped it and turns to Edge Chromium which is win32 app.

If you mean the latter, I think you can do it in the future. WebView2 using Edge Chromium kernel and can be used to develop win32 app now. WinUI 3.0 has a UWP WebView2 control. If you want to use WebView2 to develop a UWP app, you can follow the progress of WinUI 3.0 project and can use it in WinUI 3.0 stable version.

I hope they do follow up with it as the Kiosk mode for windows one click UWP apps was good. That no longer works when you istall Edge Chromium.
