Remove custom domains from expired subscription

Question

I had an MSDN subscription that has been expired. Now the issue is I had created some web apps with custom domains. Now as my Azure subscription is expired I want those domains back. I tried to buy those domains from GoDaddy but they say domain taken.
Kindly tell me any way to remove those domains from my expired subscription so I can purchase those domains back

To better assist you on this, kindly let us know the following:

When was the subscription disabled? (Less than or more than 30 days)
Are you referring to App Service Domain or App Service Managed domain?

Just to highlight:
-App Service Domains use GoDaddy for domain registration and Azure DNS to host the domains.
-App Service Domains are domains that were purchased from Azure App Service. Domains added to App Service WebApps are custom domains. These are different resources.
-The App Service domain you bought is valid for one year from the time of purchase.

As a side note, Azure deals with expiring or expired App Service domains, see the doc section When domain expires for more details.

You may also check for emails on this, Azure will send multiple emails to notify you of expiration within the 30 days prior and 30 days after the expiration date of your domains.
