MFA is a process where a user is prompted during the sign-in process for an additional form of identification, such as to enter a code or approve a login on their cellphone, input a code received trough a SMS, provide a fingerprint scan, etc.

SSPR gives users the ability to change or reset their password, with no administrator or help desk involvement.

Although both are related to security, MFA is an (additional) security layer while SSPR is a recovery feature.

    Ciao @ KamalBernard-9210,
since few months, there is an advantage in using MS Azure for both MFA and SSPR solutions: users only need to enroll once (with two methods) to be enabled for both.

    Ciao
    Giorgio
