Ever since I have updated my Windows Version to 20H2(OS Build 19042.1110) since last March, I have experienced a problem with my remote desktop connection particularly for my Host PC. First, when the Host PC is just booted up and I connect to it via RDP, I will be able to connect but the RDP window will only be a black screen and I can't do anything in order to be able to access the host PC. A simple solution to this that I found is that I need to be able to login to my host PC first before I can connect and access via RDP, which is a huge problem since during a case of work-from-home, we just ask for a PC bootup from a personnel in the office so we could connect to our PCs remotely but with this problem in order for me to remotely connect I need to be able to login in first in the Host PC itself which will needing me to give out my password/credentials to the personnel who is tasked to bootup the PCs for us.
A second problem is that when I can finally access my Host PC via RDP after logging in the Host PC first. Host PC goes all black, normally when we connect via RDP, Host PC goes to lock state displaying log in page, in my case it goes all black. When I end my RDP Connection and disconnect from the RDP properly via the disconnect button from the Start Menu, Host PC is still just all black screen. In addition to this even if I end my RDP session with a Turn Off or Restart PC the problem is still the same, Host PC is just black screen and will not Turn Off or Restart at all even if that was the option chosen when ending my RDP session. At this point, I have no control at all with Host PC, I have tried CTRL+ALT+DEL but nothing really is happening, I am left with no choice but to Force Shut Down via Power Button because the whole thing is still on even if its just in unresponsive black screen state.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and probable solutions on how to handle this problem. Please ask away if there are more details I might have missed that you might want to know in order to solve this problem.
