Hi All, I understand it is case by case scenario and depends entirely on use case. But still would like to know what is most common design pattern with respect to Azure architecture is used in available design pattern such as circuit breaker ,cache aside pattern and gatekeeper pattern etc. Please also elaborate reasoning behind such design pattern, it also includes serverless design pattern. Thanks a lot.

    Hello @Samy Abdul ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

In conjunction with feedback from a wide representation of the developer community and experts in the cloud computing industry, we had identified these cloud designed patterns categories that encompass the most common problem areas in cloud application development.

Cloud Design Patterns varies case by case scenario and depends entirely on use case, not one-size-fits-all. Considering that CDPs are used to solve “common problems”, it can be said that altogether these patterns are a library of reusable solutions to unique or individual issues that many cloud builder’s encounter.

These design patterns are useful for building reliable, scalable, secure applications in the cloud.

Each pattern describes the problem that the pattern addresses, considerations for applying the pattern, and an example based on Microsoft Azure. Most of the patterns include code samples or snippets that show how to implement the pattern on Azure. However, most of the patterns are relevant to any distributed system, whether hosted on Azure or on other cloud platforms.

For more information, refer to Azure - Cloud Design Patterns.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
