Hey, I have recently built a new pc and have upgraded from windows home to pro. the main thing I wanted it for was so that I could remote connect to my windows pc from anywhere. I set up windows remote desktop on mac so that I could remote to my windows pc and it works. the thing is it only works when I'm on the same network as my desktop is. How do I allow it to let me remote to my windows desktop from my mac while I'm at school? I am trying to use Microsoft access which is exclusive for windows and cant be used on mac. I need it for a class and don't want to get a loner pc. the main reason why I upgraded to windows pro was for that main reason.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

To be able to RDP from outside you need to get public ip configured on Firewall or from ISP.

Alternatively, you can use Team viewer or any other application which allows take direct access of your computer connected to internet.

    Hope this helps,
