Hi

I am Joel. I need some information about Azure VM and it's O.S disk size.

I want to specifically deploy an Azure VM (Either Windows or Ubuntu or Cent OS) with a 10,20 or 30 GB O.S disk. How can I achieve this?

There is a default O.S Disk size which will be deployed along with the VM, how can I find which VM series will have what default O.S disk sizes?

The reason why I am asking is when ever we deploy Azure VM to customer we can to customize the pricing for disk like give him 64 GB or 30 GB O.S disk.

Please give me suggestions and if there any documents share the links.

    Hi,

As far as I know the OS disk size cannot be modified to a smaller size, it can only be expanded later on.

For Windows Azure VMs the default OS disk size was changed from 30GB to 128GB, read more:

    Best regards,
    Leon
