I have 13 TB of hyperbackup data in blob storage,
if necessary, will I be able to write all of this data to a databox for transfer?
I'm seeing some conflicting information regarding blob storage limitations as it relates to databox.
Thanks for any insight. Trying to make sure we have a solid disaster plan RTG.

I am using a Azure storage account for offsite backup. Synology HyperBackup is using about 13TB total storage.

I don't really understand the limitations described other than total size but would like to verify that, if necessary, I can transfer all of the backup data to a data box for quick restore on my end.

I'm not sure which limitations you are speaking of. In terms of capacity, the standard size can hold up to 80TB of data. There are various limitations to be aware of and these are outlined on this page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databox/data-box-limits

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'm referring specifically to the following, listed at the link you provided, which I also reviewed.

    Azure object size limits
Here are the sizes of the Azure objects that can be written. Make sure that all the files that are uploaded conform to these limits.

    AZURE OBJECT SIZE LIMITS
    Azure object type Default limit
    Block blob ~ 4.75 TiB
    Page blob 8 TiB
Every file uploaded in page blob format must be 512 bytes aligned (an integral multiple), else the upload fails.
VHD and VHDX are 512 bytes aligned.
