I am unable to install the DHCP server role. Getting the following error , any suggestions?

    Hi,

    0x800f0922 means Processing advanced installers and generic commands failed.

    For this issue, you can disconnect the virtual NIC, access the virtual machine from the virtual box console other than from remote session (if already, ignore this step), reboot the server and add the DHCP role again to see if it helps.

    Unfortunately, Alex's solution didn't work for me, but this did:

    1. Go to Control Panel and disable all active adapters
    2. Delete the C:\Windows\System32\dhcp folder

    Try reinstalling and it should work :)
