I got a new phone and I cannot log in to my work email. Every time that I try to log in it asks for me to use the authenticator app on my old phone. I do not see any way to log into my account without using the app on my old phone. I do not have my old phone. The phone number is still the same.

Should be able to install the app, then sign in using your recovery account to restore the backup.

Hello @Nicholas Mignery and welcome to Q&A.

Generally when authenticating and you’re asked to either enter a code or accept a notification from the Authenticator app, there’s also an option in case you do not have access to the app. This would normally result in a SMS message if your tenant administrator allows this method. You can then general set up the Authenticator app on a new phone.

If the SMS option is not available, I’m afraid your only option is to ask an administrator for your tenant to reset your authentication settings so you can register for MFA again.

For more information I would suggest having a look at this support page.
