Infoblox DNS/DHCP SCOM management pack

Question

Hi All

We are planning to monitor Infoblox foe DNS/DHCP from SCOM. IS there management pack available for this. IF so please share the link.

There is currently no official Infoblox MP available.
It looks like someone authored a custom one and made it available to the public at some point, but the link is dead... (see https://community.infoblox.com/t5/API-Integration/SCOM-Management-Pack/td-p/4118 )
So you will likely have to author your own, unfortunately.

Hi,

Please kindly understand that SCOM only provides a framework for monitoring and the dedicated management packs are provided by each vendor.

Generally, for Linux and Windows computers, we install the agents and import the corresponding management packs. For network device, we use SNMP if it is supported by the device.

Microsoft provides a catalog of management packs for their products and other vendors provide the management packs in their own website if there is any. For such query, you may consult Infoblox to see if there is any existing management packs or SNMP is supported.
