Hi geeks, I'm facing an issue with my windows 10 update, unable to upgrade to windows 11. I've downloaded pc health checkup and got the result with processor issue. my processor is "Intel®Core™i5-7200U" . and also checked windows doc my processor was not listed.

there were no other error other than processor. is Microsoft going to add more processor list?

Microsoft published a list of supported Intel processors:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

Nobody knows if there will be any modifications.

Windows 11 can be installed in the unsupported mode either by:
    a) modifying the registry and elsewhere so that the update agent does not recognize and block unsupported upgrades
    b) backing up important files then performing a clean install of Windows 11 and restoring important files

End users may not benefit from the Windows 11 performance and security enhancements.
And end users may not be able to update Windows or Microsoft Defender without problems.

So far multiple websites have reported end users using very old hardware with with Windows 11.
Also there were no reported problems with automatic updates.

is Microsoft going to add more processor list?

Atm, we don't have any official information, if it will be included in list of supported processors.

I recommend you to drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.
