Unable to Start the Services Automatically

Hi,

I would like to ask if what are the possible root causes as the listed services below are not starting automatically after I restart Windows Server 2012.

Services not starting

  • DNS Client
  • Function Discovery Resource Publication
  • SSDP Discovery
  • UPnP Device Host

    Best thing to find root cause to check Windows event viewer logs to check why it did not start during that boot time.
    Some services may not have started due to dependency on other services starting.

    I'd check the startup type in services.msc are set to Automatic, also check the system event log for errors.
