Printer deployment via Group Policy Stoped working after the recent Windows Patches

Recently, last week, we deployed the latest Windows patches along with security patches across the office; yes, bad idea. Since then, Printers deployed via Group Policy are no longer deploying; and I am not noticing any group policy related errors on the Windows 10 workstations or the 2019 servers.

Any suggestions that can help?

The KB5006670 update broke everything. Other than deleting it there is no solution...

    Hi there,

You are not alone in this issue , the only work around here is to uninstall the updates .I suppose Microsoft is working around this .People whose systems have been negatively affected by the update report being unable to connect to network printers while seeing 0x00000709 and Element not found errors.

Another workaround is to re-enable the CopyFiles feature that Microsoft disabled last month. You can do this by navigating to HKLM \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ Printers in the registry and giving the CopyFilesPolicy key a value of 1.

You can try looking into this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/517533/pint-server-and-print-nightmare-update.html
