dears,

i have on my onprem DC 2 exchange servers in DAG and i want to extend it to another site.
i already have on azure site to site VPN and a domain controller?
is it feasible or recommended to host two new exchange servers in the same DAG?

i see that exchange is supported on Azure but i need to know if it is from a networking perspective and my onpremises site falls down how the exchnage on azure vms will start sending and receiving emails?

    It is supported, yes:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/virtual-machines/server-software-support#microsoft-exchange

However there a lot of considerations:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/deploy-new-installations/create-azure-test-environments?view=exchserver-2019
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/high-availability/manage-ha/azure-vms-as-dag-witness-servers?view=exchserver-2019

Note that you would need your AD forest domain controllers in Azure as well.

Personally, I would never do this. I dont see the value stretching the DAG to Azure. Not only do you have to account for all the networking, you also have to change DNS and transport routing.

If you have deploy the site relationship correct. You will could add them into exist DAG. Please make sure all DAG member on installed the same OS.

i see that exchange is supported on Azure but i need to know if it is from a networking perspective and my onpremises site falls down how the exchnage on azure vms will start sending and receiving emails?

Theoretically, if one of the sites crashes, the DAG can continue to work on the other site. But, this requires relatively high network quality

Personally, I would suggest you consider Exchange online, which is more stable and easier to manage.
