Allow Zoom screen sharing in Kiosk mode

I'm trying to setup some laptops in kiosk mode (Windows 10 Enterprise) to allow users to get on a Zoom meeting (Zoom client, not Zoom Room). I know there will be a requirement to share the screen, but when I attempt to do it in kiosk mode, I get "Screen sharing has failed to start. Please try again later. Error Code: 105035"

My guess is there is a permission that needs to be set, but I'm unclear on which setting(s) and where/how to do that.

Any help here would be appreciated!

Looks like it was due to permissions. By default the “Enable the remote control of all applications“ was not ticked. Doing so allowed the screen share. Additionally, for the push install of the Zoom MSI, I needed the following: ZConfig="kCmdParam_InstallOption=128". This was found through working with Zoom support.

Since this is a Zoom product, I advise you to check with the Zoom support team, may be there is bug. Because normally it is not expected to use Zoom in the Kiosk mode, so it is not a tested scenario and when you report this issue , they could test it and reproduce this problem and fix it.
You may open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue there , so the Windows team would be able to investigate this issue.

    Hello Again,

Please Open Zoom settings -> Select the Share Screen tab. Then, tick Enable the remote control of all applications. (If you can’t check this option, right-click your Zoom app on the desktop and click Run as administrator.)

If issue still persist Please reach out Zoom client support and one of the Zoom experts will be happy to assist you.
