To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:
- Which device did you deploy App protection policy to? Windows, iOS or Android?
- Please show the screen shots of the App protection policy settings, included the protected apps and the detailed settings. Make sure that Excel and Outlook are protected apps.
- Please make sure the sign in user is the user in the app protection policy's assignment user group.
