Windows 11 - user profiles

In testing of W11 (Pro, domain joined), I have found an issue whereby if a user profile folder and associated registry key are deleted (i.e. as you might do with a corrupted profile), the next time the user logs in the taskbar is completely blank, apart from the arrow which reveals the system tray icons. This issue then seems to persist.

Anyone else found this / have a solution? I seem to recall that there was a similar issue which appeared with one of the W10 feature updates a year or two ago, which was fixed by the following feature update.

Thanks

I believe this is a bug, so first try open the Command Prompt as administrator and then type the following command:

    sfc /scannow

Press enter and let it runs and see if it solved the issue.
I also recommend you to open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Make sure add the step by step way to reproduce this issue.

You should file a bug report in the Feedback Hub app which you did and the Windows team will investigate and resolve this issue.

Had same issue today, and for me it was solved just, right click on desktop, Create New Folder, after opening the folder, the task bar populates again.

Hopefully this help some one, on the shor run.
