How can i change Premium SSD from my VM + MSSQL to Standard SSD?

    It may be that if you want a VM with SQL Server + Standard HDD, you cannot use a marketplace image, but you will have to install SQL Server yourself.

    Then again, are you really sure that you want standard HDD? I attended a class on Azure, the instructor - av MVP colleague that I highly respect - said that Standard HDD for SQL Server is not a good experience at all.

    Are your using SQL Server on Azure VM? If so, I suggest you add a tag azure-sql-virtual-machines to the thread.

    But i don't wanna change the VM, but my MSSQL disk.

    This is the message when i try to change, the problem is that where i configurate. But when i'm creating the machine it gives me this.

    When i click CHANGE CONFIGURATION, this is the image, they force to be PREMIUM SSD but i don't want that.
