backup and restore of spot instance VM

I am Azure beginner.
Is it possible to backup and restore spot instance VM.
This VM is for test bed, therefore I would like to save cost.
Anyone know that?

    There is no support for Azure Backup however a few "try to restore" feature was just announced recently for evicted Spot VMs that may be what you need. See here for details: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/azure-spot-virtual-machines-tryrestore-functionality-now-generally-available/

    Spot VMs are Unsupported. Azure Backup restores Spot VMs as regular Azure VMs. Doc ref: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/backup-support-matrix-iaas
