Remove Outdated Image Cache From Bing

Many of my outdated and deleted images have been turning up in Bing's image search results. I tried to have them updated and removed using Bing's content removal tool, but it seems to only work on pages, not cached images, unlike Google's content removal tool, which handles both. Some of these images are very old, so it doesn't look like it's going to be done automatically anytime soon. This is an old question, but it never received any helpful responses.

@Amelia Wysocki Yes, the content removal tool works well with the pages that needs to be removed if there is a legal right or otherwise to remove them.
I have noticed most of the older images are not deleted from the original sites so they showup on cache. Once the original content is removed or the owner is contacted to remove them, the cache deleted them after it updates its index. One such scenario was this thread.
