Windows Update with Error

Question

Hi!

I have two Windows Server 2016 with Microsoft .NET Core 2.1.5 installed.

Servers are used for debugging applications. Developers need exactly this version.

Servers receive critical updates and security updates from the WSUS server.

In the installation report I see an error when installing the update 2021-02 .NET Core 2.1.25 Security Update for x64 Server.

When you try to install the update manually, an error message is displayed:

What is this problem?

I found the following messages in the log and I want to share with you:

According to the error tip, it seems that you have already installed the later one. So the installation failed. Please help to confirm whether the windows server 2016 installed the later version. If so, please try to remove the later version and then we could install this one.
