Team connot login on iPhone (IOS 15.1)

Cannot login microsoft team on Iphone (IOS 5.1). Got error "Sign-in error
Yout license doesn't include access to Microsoft Teams. Ask your IT admin for access."

I asked my IT admin team they said that because the application cannot use in IOS 5.1

Hi @Chidchanok Monroek ,

Can you uninstall the Teams client and reinstall one？Or delete the cache and see if that could work.

And is your account the guest account of an organization or licensed user account?

If it's a guest account, you may ask the Teams admin to regain guest access.

And anothing thing is you can try using Safari to login to Teams for web to test you account.

@Chidchanok Monroek - Could you please confirm your iOS version whether it's 15.1 or 5.1??
If it's 5.1 version, Microsoft Teams has dropped support for iOS 13 and lower version in October.

Kindly update it to 14 or 15.1 version for smother functionality.

I have tested the process on IOS 15.1 and both of the licensed user account and guest account could work.

Have you tried the suggestions above, do they work?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled already but it still doesn't work. But I can login by another account. So I think it's a problem with my account.

Is your account a guest? And if so, can you re-join the organization?
And check if your account was blocked from the tenant.

Hi,
we have the same problem in our company. Since a few days people cannot sign in the Teams-App on iOS-devices with their Office365-guest-accounts. On Safari it is possible to sign in.
The same error "ChidchanokMonroek-9397" mentioned.

We did nearly everything. Kicked the guests out of the organisation and joinend them again. Some user even reset their iPads, but it does not work.
This just referes guest-accounts on iOS-devices (iPad, iPhone). On Desktop-Devices (Windows, MAC) or in webbrowser there is no problem.

The guest-accounts are all invitend from licensed-account of our organisation.

What's the IOS version of the devices? And is that for all IOS users?

it is on several IOS-versions. E.G. we use IOS 15.0.2 but the issue also prompts on IOS 14.
The Teams-app-version is 3.18.1.
It is for all IOS users.

We also checked your recommended link, but that did not work.

Hi @Malte Riemer ,

As I can see, the latest version Teams for IOS would be 3.18.2. Please check if you could login after updating.

As far as I know, there are no special options for IOS Teams, so this is really weird.

I just saw a solution for users who can not login IOS Teams, first use another account to login and then choose "add account" to login the guest user.

Hi,
we also tried with 3.18.2. Now there was an update for 3.19.0, but it still not work. Your tip is right. We can login when we first login with another account.
Another workaround we found is using the origin Teams-invitation-link (which yout got via e-mail). When you open the link on the iOS-device and login, it redirects to MS Teams and the login works successfully. This is not a solution, but it helps working.
