"Failed hash verification" in Hyper-V Quick Create with Windows 10 dev environment

Using Hyper-V Quick Create, I selected "Windows 10 dev environment" and "Create Virtual machine". It spent 20 minutes or so downloading the 16GB image, but after "Verifying download" it popped up an error message "Failed hash verification". I tried a couple more times, including after rebooting, and got the same message.

I haven't found anything online about this problem. Is there any way to fix this? Alternatively, is there another way to get a simple Windows 10 image to run in Hyper-V?

BenForbes, inside the .zip file is WinDev2007Eval.vhdx file. So you could DL the original file using this link ( https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/c/e/7ce1271d-04bb-4f0f-b1f4-e031bccb9712/WinDev2007Eval.HyperVGen2.zip ), using your DL manager or browser, extract it and use it as a Local installation source. Enjoy, John.

XiaoweiHe-MSFT, I do not understand! Have you even read all my posts? It is very clear that the MS DL manager has a problem, probably with files larger than 16 GB. Have you tried it yourself? If not, please do. I gave BenForbes a good procedure to get going. I think there is no need for any changes by BenForbes. I would really like the courtesy of a response to my posts. Thanks.

BenForbes, you are welcome. XiaoweiHe-MSFT will need to answer your questions concerning licensing.

    Thanks and enjoy, John.

Hopefully, MS will fix this error. I would prefer having a DL address so I could use my DL manager for almost double speed. Enjoy, John.

I DLed from the URL copied from the error message above and these are the checksums.

BenForbes, I am DLing it right now and will post the results shortly. Have you tried it more than once? Sounds like a simple Internet error. I do not know what you are trying to do, but I would suggest going to Windows Media Creation center and DLing the latest W10 as an ISO and in installing it on a VM created in Hyper-V. Enjoy, John.

EDIT:I cannot find the file that Hyper-V DLed but it should be 650,886,845 bytes more than 16 GB, I suspect the DL manager being used by Hyper-V has a bug that messes up files greater than 16 GB.
