Hello,

I am running the wizard to create a failvoer cluster and the storage check indicates an error in

Validate Disk Failover (The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable)
Validate File System (The test was canceled)
Validate Simultaneous Failover.

I suppose that one of the disks when it does the validation process places the disk offline, but then when trying to put it online it fails, that's why the message that the disk is corrupt.

You should have that LUN removed from storage and resubmit a new LUN to the server.

any suggestion.

    Hey,

Check the following article, which might help resolving the issue.

In addition, in case you need shared storage for the cluster, you can use StarWind VSAN. The following guide covers the configuration steps:

    Hi there,

This issue occurs because the Automount feature is turned off. To determine whether this option is turned off, follow these steps:

Open an administrative command prompt, and then run the following command: Diskpart
At the Diskpart prompt, run the following command: Automount

The results will tell you whether Automount is enabled or disabled.

Here is a link as well to help you out in this issue https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/high-availability/validation-fails-run-disk-failover-test
