When I login to the Azure Portal I keep getting a popup with the following text:

The portal is having issues getting an authentication token. The experience rendered may be degraded.
Additional information from the call to get a token:
Extension: Microsoft_Azure_Support
Resource: self
Details: AADSTS50020: User account '{EmailHidden}' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Scoop Digital' and cannot access the application 'c44b4083-3bb0-49c1-b47d-974e53cbdf3c'(Azure Portal) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

It seems to be causing other issues, for example changing my SendGrid SAAS plan.

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this issue?

Thankyou.

Hi @Scoop Digital , if you visit the portal directly by going to https://portal.azure.com/ , does it work? This thread had a few solutions you might want to try. However, since this is causing other issues it may be an issue with your External User settings. Please review these settings and see if this fixes anything. If not I can keep looking for a solution.

If this answer helped you please mark it as "Verified" so other users may reference it.

    Thank you,
    James

    Thanks James.

No, it does not work if I go to https://portal.azure.com/ direct - same error messages. I also looked at that thread/link but nothing worked.

Basically I cannot do anything when logged in as admin@scoopdigital.com.au - every single thing I do causes that error message. It is strange because this has been the Azure login we have used for many years without issue, and from what I understand that login is the owner of the tenant/subscription etc.

We are totally incapacitated at the moment, which is very worrying.

Is there anything you can do to help?

    Thanks.
    Greg

Hi James, thankyou for the offer.

The issue has been resolved by Azure Support now. It was related to an O365 migration being undertaken by another part of the business. Somehow our accounts were "soft" removed from the tenancy. Thanks for your help.
