I am also close to rejecting Windows Server altogether because of the lack of drivers for AMD Ryzen Hardware. The last group of servers I built where based on Server 2012 and you could Windows Desktop drivers with Zero Issue. It seems Microsoft has gone out of it's way to force you to use inferior (really badly inferior) server hardware now, and there seems no way around it. I hated to it but I know building a test server on Fedora as a result. I would really rather pay for Windows Server License but Microsoft has decided we are not important enough.
Windows server essentials 2022 - where to buy a license
I need to know where to buy a Windows server essentials 2022 license. I want it for a standalone small server. I previously used Server 2012 Essentials and do not want to have to buy Server 2019 Essentials now that 2022 Essentials is out. MS seems to be making this difficult.

Windows Server Essentials is available through our OEM Server Hardware partners.
