hello everyone

recently i got a note in bottom of windows/screen that say outlook try to restore information from server(exchange 2016).

why i got this note? maybe it is network problem?

By "outlook try to restore information from server(exchange 2016)", do you mean the following message appearing in the taskbar?
"Outlook is retrieving data from the Microsoft Exchange Server Server_Name."

If this is the case, agree with Andy that it's normally related to the network and in most cases it can resume to work shortly so there's no need to worry about it. If it occurs quite frequently and multiple users in your organization are affected by this issue, you would need to try contacting your Exchange administrator to invesitigate further. In case only your client has this issue, as has been mentioned by Andy, it's worth trying to recreate a new Outlook profile and see if there would be any improvement.

If you are seeing a popup that Outlook is trying to retrieve information from Exchange , then yes, its typically a network issue on either the server or client side.
These usually go away in a few minutes and the connection is restored.

Ensure Outlook is in cached mode for the best performance.

thanks..the outlook is working in cached mode.

can i do more things to prevent this problem/popup?

in some forums, some people say maybe the ost file corrupted or something like this.

Well, most the time it fixes itself. It could be a network issue or you are accessing an online folder with lots of items, or the server could be experiencing a spike in usage, etc...

If the problem continues, it wouldnt hurt to look at recreating the Outlook profile or disabling anti-virus to test.

Otherwise, if happens consistently across many users then I would look at the server or network issues.

If the ost is corrupt, then recreating the Outlook profile should fix that

I guess you have already performed a network connectivity check:

You can do this by running the Outlook Connectivity test at https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/. Ensure you use Autodiscover to detect server settings so this can be tested also. If you get any errors, please post the error/s.

You can try to Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost)
