Intune vs ChromeOS

Hi team,

I receive a new Tablet - Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook - with the purpose of install the Company environment through Microsoft Authenticator app and Intune Company Portal, however I'm always receiving the message that the Company cannot register my new device.

I have read some forums and comments and it seems that these app does not support ChromeOS (very similar with android software).

Will it be solved by Microsoft in the future and update those applications in order to the users of this kind of operating systems be able to use the professional accounts?

Is there any other way to have access to the apps, mentioned above, through ChromeOS?

    Hi,

    I don't think Microsoft will answer this question for you. I would advise you to ask this question on the ChromeOS support forum.

    Furthermore, I would advise you to look further than only the Microsoft authenticator App. Is your whole Application landscape supported on the platforms that you want to use? After that, make a decision.
