I need to Run My Dot Net C# application to be run with admin privileges' without UAC. So I have mistakenly added my exe name in group policy under "allow to run only specified windows application" and restarted system.

Now I am not able to access any of windows application not even Group Policy.

I am getting an error message as "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact system administrator". Even though I have logged in though Administrator account.

Can you please help me to revoke that group policy some how?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

As you are unable to access registry settings and group policies even log in as admin our only hope would be to restore the PC before the registry editing. If you are able to edit the registry from safe mode try the below steps.

-Navigate to File Explorer in the User Configuration.
-Double click on Prevent access to drives from My Computer.
    -Select Not Configured.
    -Click Apply and OK.
