Hello @Asif Ayub - Thank you for reaching out to us!

Azure backup as a service, currently doesn't support/offer backup solution for emails, OneDrive Data or Office 365.

Find below, list of services that you can backup by using the Azure Backup service.

    • On-premises - Back up files, folders, system state using the Microsoft Azure Recovery Services (MARS) agent. Or use the DPM or Azure Backup Server (MABS) agent to protect on-premises VMs (Hyper-V and VMWare) and other on-premises workloads
    • Azure VMs - Back up entire Windows/Linux VMs (using backup extensions) or back up files, folders, and system state using the MARS agent.
    • Azure Files shares - Back up Azure File shares to a storage account
    • SQL Server in Azure VMs - Back up SQL Server databases running on Azure VMs
    • SAP HANA databases in Azure VMs - Backup SAP HANA databases running on Azure VMs

Are you using Exchange online, for emails? Then I recommend you to refer the following URL.

Basically Microsoft takes care of the backup and its retention, however if you still want to backup emails in Exchange online, there are commercial tools available and those tools support backing up data to Azure. An example of such a software is given below.

With regard to Onedrive, there is no direct option available right now in Azure backup that can be configured with these services. One thing you can do is that you can sync one drive to your local computer and use Azure backup to backup the folder. If you decide to backup emails using commercial software, they mostly support onedrive too.
