couldn't mount vhdx file

I am trying to restore some backed up Hard Disk Image Files (vhdx) to my new laptop. The files were created on a Windows 10 laptop, and my new laptop runs Windows 11. The vhdx files were backed up to an external hard drive that is NTFS formatted. When I try to mount the vhdx file on my new laptop, I get the following error.

So, I tried to see if anything looks wrong in Disk Management. As shown below, nothing seems wrong to me.

Below are the vhdx files that I'm trying to restore.

How can I resolve this error?

    Hi @qubit813 ,

    Thanks for your query.

    (1) What about open Disk Management and assign a (different) drive letter to the mounted VHDX partition(s)?
    (2) Please check the following method:

    1. Press Win+X and choose the Disk Management option.
    2. Choose the Action tab.
    3. Select the Attach VHD option.
    4. Browse to the .vhd or .vhdx file and select it.
    5. Hit the Open button.
    6. The .vhd or .vhdx file will be mounted and open in a separated File Explorer window.
    7. Proceed to restore the backup successfully.
