Migrating nutanix vms to azure

Hi team,

I have a requirement of migrating vms hosted on nutanix hyper converged infrastructure to azure.

Can anyone suggest if how this can be achieved.

You can treat the Nutanix VMs as physical machines and use azure migrate service to migrate to replicate and migrate the VMs from Nutanix to Azure. You will have to use the azure migrate agent-based approach for this scenario.
You can also discover and assess the VMs using the azure migrate assessment service.

That is helpful post, Prrudram-MSFT.
In fact, we are doing some testing now.
When we did failover, it did not power off the on-prem VM and we need to shut down the VM manually. Not sure this is expected behavior or not?

I am assuming we can setup the above environment as for DR strategy as well, not just for migration VM from on-prem to Azure side.
As you mention it is agent base for Nutanix VM treating like actual physical machine. So for the SQL server instance running inside the VM, how does that impact the high i/o applications like SQL?
Let's say there are 35 GB of sql database delta change for every 4 hours. How is that going to work with Azure replication given RPO 3 days and apps consistency snapshot like 6 hours, considering all the lovely Azure limitation? Is this even archivable for DR strategy?
