We have two vms : VM1 with accelerated networking enabled and VM2 with accelerated networking disabled For VM1, everytime when we Logging to vm after stop and start the vm again it will create new Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx Virtual Ethernet Adapter. When I check Device manager > view > show hidden devices > network adaptors, Getting a lot of adapters as given in the below picture. Why? But when I reboot the same vm inside OS it will not create any adapters. Why? Also, please run the next command on the PowerShell Terminal so, we can realize if the status per NIC is not present and so on... No scaleset running on it.

Today I logged in to the VM and you could see in the below screenshot a new adapter is created

I tried the command you have given in powershell. You could see in the below screenshot that status of the adapter created today is showing up

Please clear my doubts. Why it is like this.

So, I would like to get more familiar with your scenario. As per your problem description I might say or think the following below:

Please disable show hidden network adapters on your Device manager panel please. but also, this could be if you have more than one Vswitch on your server.

But when I reboot the same vm inside OS it will not create any adapters. Why?

Could be for the show hidden network adapters being disable....

For VM2(Not enabled accelerated networking), it will not create any Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx Virtual Ethernet Adapter when I logging to vm after stop and start vm again or reboot the vm inside OS. Why?
