could not create the template vhd. error message -2147024893

Question

Hi VDI Experts

We have VDI environment compose of RD Broker, 2 sesshion host with virtualization roles, gateway,licensing and webpage. We already create s VM windows 10 as master image in session host server and sysprep it and shut down state.

We tried to create a Virtual Desktop Collection under that master image and get an error " Coult not create the Template VHD. Error Message - 2147024893. Unable o retrieve the details of the virtual desktop collection. "

The Shared folder which the profile disk to be saved is located in our file Server , created as shared folder over the network.

Can someone share on how to fix this kind or error message ?

I see the instruction but i have no idea on where to perform it ! If you have idea please share it. thanks

Please make sure that automount has been enabled:

1. Run cmd as administrator
2. Type : diskpart
3. Inside diskpart, type: automount
4. If automatic mounting is not enabled, then you would need to run:
   automount enable
5. Then exit diskpart.
