Error updating profile image from the portal of Azure Active Directory

Hello,

I'm trying to update my profile photo but I get 2 error messages

In the network tab of developer tools I get:

here's my role as global administrator

Why does this happen and how to fix it?

From the error message that you're receiving - ErrorUserResolutionFailedUserDoesNotExist, is this a newly created user?

Are you having issues updating any other user profile pictures within your tenant?

Do you have any other users within your tenant that can try update your profile picture, to see if they're running into the same error?

Yes I can't change other users profile picture.

I'm a member of another Active Directory and also can't update my profile picture. The error I get is "InvalidAuthenticationToken". Is there a global issue with updating images?

What are the steps I can follow to solve my issue?

Thank you for following up on this!

It looks like this could be a potential bug, and from your exception type - Microsoft.Fast.Profile.Core.Exception.ProfileNotFoundException, I was able to find another thread with a workaround to hopefully resolve your issue.

#Install the Azure AD PowerShell Module Install-Module AzureAD #Login to Azure AD Connect-AzureAD #Set the thumbnail photo for a user Set-AzureADUserThumbNailPhoto -ObjectId $UPN -FilePath c:\temp\MyPhoto.jpg
