Hello,

Would anyone please tell me why some parameter values of the Get-MailboxDatabase command are missing for my databases, for example, LogCheckpointDepth?

Thank you in advance,

Oh, sounds strange to me... There's an Event ID 26014

"The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting messages because the Checkpoint depth is high."

    • that fires up when Exchange starts receiving more email messages then it can handle (Backpressure ), and this alert is based on the depth of the checkpoint (as far as I get it). If a DB is a member of DAG does it mean that the backpressure won't be logging at least 26014? How in this case may I know the backpressure has started?

    Hi @Mikhail Firsov

The checkpoint depth can be found in performance monitor, and the description about it:

Here is a related thread discussed the similar error: Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting messages

Check if any error recorded running below command:

    Get-Queue -Server "ServerName" | fl

*The default value of DatabaseCheckPointDepthMax 384 MB means that 1152MB (3*384) is always reserved for the message queue database transaction logs regardless of the size of the hard disk drive. The current checkpoint depth could exceed the max value. You can customize the value based on your situation and see if it helps. For your reference:*
