i am trying to make a mp3 player in wpf visual 2022. but it's giving errors when i try to add windows media player not adding in toolbox.

when i try to add windows media player from "Com components" it's giving errors like this.

i don't know how to resolve it. please help me.

It should work in case of "Windows Forms App (.NET Framework)" (not "Windows Forms App").

To play media in WPF (using .NET Core 3.1), consider one of approaches: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/communitytoolkit/controls/wpf-winforms/mediaplayerelement.

@_ ati I removed Windows Forms tag as the screenshot shows you are using a WPF application. Please read about Using the right tag for your question.

HI,@_ ati . Is there any update to the question after Viroel-1's answer? In which project's Toolbox did you right click choose Items... and add Windows Media Player in COM Components ? Is it a Windows Forms Control Library (.NET Framework) project or a WPF App (.NET Framework) project?
