Will the API gateway resource be added to Azure Stack Hub? or something similar to it.

I hope you are referring to this.

Application gateway
Layer-7 load balancing
Azure: Supported
Azure Stack Hub: Not yet supported.

As of now there is no update on this support.

However, I would request you to submit this feature to Azure Stack Hub - Feedback Community here.
