When trying to Create a VM (virtual machine) with OS (operating system) as Windows Server 2008 (including R2) using SCSI interface for HDD (because it can be Compacted later, IDE HDD can not be compacted), you are asked to provide Drivers from a Floppy.
I research and found that there is a virtual floppy file called "SCSI Shunt Driver.vfd" who are supposed to be included in Microsoft Software "Virtual Server 2005 R2".
Unfortunately VS 2005 R2 is to old and I was not able to find file "SCSI Shunt Driver.vfd".
Any Suggestion to find the file "SCSI Shunt Driver.vfd" will be much appreciated.

Please help. Thank you.

Virtual Server 2005 R2 was released for free in 2007 by Microsoft. So I'm looking of 50 ko file from a free software.

    Hi there,

The image's name “SCSI Shunt Driver. vfd“, and it is located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Virtual Server\Virtual Machine Additions folder.

Wonder full ... 10 days without none provide me a 50 ko driver from a Free Software from 2007 called Virtual Server 2005 R2. It is more and more clear to me that no one from Microsoft are really reading this Q sections since about Answers we can not discuss yet. :(

So you can buy in peace Windows 2022 DC licence with tons of money, you can buy also 2008 software with no support or anything .. and without SCSI driver are spend money for nothing :(
