My boss installed RDS onto a server that I'm supposed to configure. For some reason however, I can't see any part of the GUI except vague information about the local server. I can't see the collection or set up RD Web Apps. I've tried searching around and I can't seem to find an answer to why this is, or how I fix it. I am also an admin on the machine and on the domain. Are there other permissions that I need?

Just an FYI for anyone searching, I was able to solve this for myself.

In Server Manager, if you are not the one who created the server pools you are looking for you, you need to manually add those servers to the Server Manager GUI in order to see the pool. Until you do, you won't be able to see the deployment.

A silly thing I guess but happy to know how to do it now.
