Returns a Boolean value indicating whether a device filter applies to the HTTP request.

Parameters

filterName: String

The browser name to test.

Returns

Boolean

true if the client browser specified in filterName is the same as the specified browser; otherwise, false. The default is false.

Remarks

The TestDeviceFilter method invokes the IsBrowser method. For more information on device filtering, see Device Filtering Overview.
